Victor “Vic” Colletti, 90, of Middle Village, New York, passed away peacefully on
April 10, 2026.
Born to parents Antonio and Rosaria (Sadie) Colletti in Brooklyn, New York on
June 20, 1935, Vic lived a long and full life defined by devotion to his family and
friends, his generous and giving nature, and enduring love for his late wife,
Lillian.
He was predeceased by his older sister, Marian, and is survived by his beloved
younger sister Rosemarie and younger brother Paul (and his wife, Laurelle). Vic
and Lillian were married on April 17, 1955, sharing 61 wonderful years together
until her passing in 2016—a remarkable testament to their deep bond and
lifelong commitment. They are now reunited in eternal rest.
Vic was a proud and loving father to his four children who survive him: Anthony
(and his wife, Karen), Sal (and his wife Joann), Paul (and his wife, Leticia), and
Rosanne (and her fiancé Joe). He was deeply devoted to his beloved fourteen
grandchildren: Victor (“VR”), Ryan (and their partner, Anna), Ashley (and her
husband, Conor), Katrina, Michael (and his wife, Vicki), Danielle (and her
husband, Carmine), Jessica, (and her wife, Erica), Christina (and her fiancé,
Tim), Matthew (and his girlfriend, Esha), Antonio (and his wife, Sara), Marina
(and her husband, Yianni), Lilia (and her boyfriend, Michael), Nicole (and her
husband, Jordan), and Julianne, and fourteen great-grandchildren: Siobhan,
Colm, Valencia, Zoe, Madison, Riley, James, Angelina, Emilia, Lola, Georgia,
Briar, Despina, and Valentina.
Over the course of a long and successful career, Vic was a small business owner
in the fashion industry as a dress manufacturer in Brooklyn and Manhattan and in
a Queens-based car service company. A lifelong New Yorker and die-hard
Yankee fan (a forty-year season-ticket holder!), Vic made his home in Middle
Village, where he built a life centered on family, tradition, his Catholic faith and
quiet dedication.
Those who knew him will remember his warmth, his resilience, his ready smile,
the love he gave so generously to those around him and the lasting impact he
had on everyone fortunate enough to be part of his life.
Vic’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
